For yet another year, See3 will be on the scene at the Making Media Connections gathering at Chicago's Columbia College. MMC is always fun for us and we're happy to be back. If you're attending, we hope you swing by and see us. If not, register now and learn more about how your nonprofit can build connections with news media and other channels.
See3's Nasser Asif will join Becky Schneck Allen (Urban Gateways), Jill Geiger (Environmental Law & Policy), and Ben-Hur Uribe (Cine Productions) for "Why Nonprofits Need a Video Strategy", a panel session to discuss how organizations can use videos to help meet their goals. This panel will be moderated by our friend Marissa Wasseluk of Community Media Workshop.
Our own Stacy Laiderman will also be leading "Make a Video", a hands-on class teaching nonprofits the basics of strategy and production around making a video from concept to completion. Learn how to determine which story to tell, what equipment you can use on your own, and how to set up good shots, get good sound, and make great looking content in-house and on your own.
