See3 was engaged by Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) to develop a national online campaign designed to champion the cause for an animal abuse registry and build its email list.  The result is “Expose Animal Abusers”, a website that allows visitors to sign a petition encouraging their state representatives to sponsor an animal abuser registry bill.  The website also features a provocative video, stories of animal abusers, and an outline of ALDF’s model law.  See3 also coordinated the campaign's online outreach plan, which included social networks, blogger outreach, email marketing, Google Grant optimization, and a Change.org petition and email chaperone. 

The campaign helped position ALDF as the leading organization working for this particular legislation, and garnered almost 16,000 petition signatures in a short amount of time.  The Expose Animal Abusers campaign was featured in mainstream press outlets such as the New York Times, USA Today, and Time Magazine (press relations handled by Fenton Communications), as well as in prominent blogs such as Daily Kos, Alternet, Stop Animal Abuse, Animal Rights and AntiOppression, and Animal Person.  As a result of the campaign, we also increased their Facebook fans by 30% and their Twitter followers by more than 40%.
